Job Description:

you. Our office is in need of a reliable medical assistant who can
provide first-class care to our patients. You'll be responsible for
welcoming patients, scheduling appointments and work closely with
our healthcare staff to take patient histories, collect test
samples, and help with examinations. Jobseekers should have great
communication skills to build a great rapport with patients and

Responsibilities:
--- Take the patient's vital signs including their pulse, body
temperature, respiration rate, and blood pressure and record it in
their chart
--- Make sure examination rooms are ready for patients by ensuring
they're well-stocked and at a comfortable temperature and that all
equipment is sterilized
--- Assist healthcare staff with examinations by handing the
appropriate medical instrument and supplies to the physician,
positioning the patient, and helping with other tasks as needed
--- Discuss patient information, medical history, and the reason
for their visit to share with the healthcare staff
--- Greet patients, handle telephone calls, schedule appointments,
and answer inquiries regarding treatment or prescription refills to
make sure each patient has a great experience in our office
Qualifications:
--- High school diploma or GED
--- Must have completed an accredited medical assisting program and
a supervised externship in a healthcare setting
--- Over 1 year of work experience as a medical assistant
performing admin duties or similar role in a healthcare work
environment
--- Solid communication and customer service skills
--- Ability use a computer to complete administrative tasks
