Job Description:

Persons employed as a Ramp Service Agent are expected to load and unload baggage, freight, and cargo, and perform various tasks such as chocking aircraft, connecting electrical power units, and providing air-start and air-conditioning.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Chock aircraft.
• Connect electrical power unit to aircraft.
• Position passenger stairs/Jetway to aircraft.
• Replenish water supply and service lavatories.
• Connect tow bar and tug for push back or towing of aircraft.
• Provide air-start and air-conditioning.
• Operate headset/radio to communicate with ground crew, flight crew, and tow person.
• Assist with baggage check-in when necessary.
• Provide additional services as needed.
  • Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid state Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge, and be insurable by the company's applicable insurance policies.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Successful completion of the Company's PST training program.The following are essential to the job, in addition to those listed above: Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Operate company equipment in a safe manner. Clearly communicate in English with others in person, via telephone, radio communicators, and in writing for purposes of performing certain job duties and safety.
